What is Invisalign and how does it work?

Invisalign is a system of clear, removable aligners designed to gradually move your teeth into a better position. Instead of traditional fixed braces, you wear a series of custom-made aligners that are changed every couple of weeks. Each set gently shifts your teeth closer to the final result.

What to expect during Invisalign treatment

1. Consultation

We start with a 3D scan of your teeth. This allows us to show you a simulation of how your smile could look after treatment.

2. Planning

Your treatment is carefully planned using digital software, mapping out how your teeth will move step by step.

3. Treatment Start

You’ll be fitted with your first set of aligners. In some cases, small attachments are added to help guide movement, and a small amount of polishing between teeth may be needed.

3. Treatment Duration

Most patients’ complete treatment in around 6–9 months, although it can be quicker or take longer depending on the case. Some minor cases take as little as 7 weeks, while more complex treatments can take up to 2 years.
